I got a Canon Rebel T3! I love it. Slowly working on saving up money for a new lens for it. Pictures look bad all squished down, so click for better quality.

Day 4

of the sore throat. Will someone please put me out of my misery?

The only good thing is I now have 2 bags of cough drops, ginger ale, and dramamine for my nauseous stomach. I just love being sick.

Sore Throat

I'm on day three of having a sore throat and nothing has helped thus far. Gargling with combinations of vinegar, water, salt, and pepper; water and salt, water, salt, and honey; water, mouthwash, and salt. Nothing. I've drank a lot of cranberry juice, had throat lozenge after lozenge, tried warm drinks and cold drinks, took ibuprofen and a nasal decongestant, Vicks Vapor Rub, etc. Nothing has tremendously helped so far.

So, to anyone that actually reads my blog, what do you do for a sore throat?

Be More Chill, no, really

For those who haven't read Be More Chill by Ned Vizzini, or really any of his work, I recommend you do. I first read Teen Angst? Naaah... and Be More Chill in middle school when we learned that Ned would be coming to be a guest speaker. I absolutely adored both books, and when he released It's Kind of a Funny Story I was terribly excited. After the movie for It's Kind of a Funny Story had been released, Ned returned to our town to speak again. I ended up finally purchasing Be More Chill and It's Kind of a Funny Story (which I could have afforded to get Teen Angst? Naaah... also), and once again experienced not being able to put the books down until I finished.

All the money I make on Zazzle is going into my savings, and let me tell you, my savings is so huuungry. I wiped out the $900 I had in it for a first payment of tuition and all my books.
